REVIVE

In the tumultous roaring of the forest,
i heard a deep cry,
it was not an animal or a bird,
but a moan as if someone was about to die.

What could i do?
i ran through the woods,
leaping and galloping for help,
but i couldn't see anything......
for..i realised it was,
the plea of NATURE,
creeping through me,
begging me to stop,
that only she could foresee.

She saw the green cover turn into a black mould,
she saw the mighty mountains as the eroded stone,
she heard the cool breeze piercing into a scream,
and she felt the happiness of her children turn into..
seemless gloom from a joyous gleam.

It was then i realised,
that what i alone could do was nothing,
but merely stare,
to the devastation happening to our environment everywhere.

It is no more a plea,
but a demand,
to protect our earth,
so that together we can all survive and stand.

Because,
what is lost can never be regained,
what is disowned can never be reclaimed,
but what is left can eventually be sustained,
in what will be called,
the revival of our Mother Earth.
